What are the fees involved?

Trading perpetuals incurs several types of fees:

Open & Close Fee

The open position fee is charged when entering into a trade, essentially the cost of opening a new trading position.

The close position fee applies when exiting a trade, covering the costs associated with closing out a position.

Solar takes a 1% fee on opening and closing a position.

Jupiter takes at least 0.08% on opening and closing a position. These fees are dynamically determined based on the position size. More details can be found on Jupiter 's forum post.

Borrow Fee

There is an hourly borrow fee that is charged on your position size.
